1. Q: Where do photographers use sound blimps?
A: See 'What is a Sound Blimp?'
2. Q: Does the Sound Blimp protect the camera from water and dust?
A: Yes.
3. Q: Is the Sound Blimp made of plastic?
A: No. The case is made of a strong aluminum alloy.
4. Q: When the camera operates in the Sound Blimp, can any sound be heard?
A: Yes, but very little. Usually only the photographer is aware that a picture has been taken.
5. Q: What does it weigh?
A: Approximately 3 pounds (1.4 kg) including the lens tube.
6. Q: Can the Sound Blimp be mounted on a tripod?
A: Yes. There is a tripod mounting plate on the bottom.
7. Q: Do you rent your Sound Blimps?
A: No. However, we can provide you with names and phone numbers of rental houses that carry our equipment.
8. Q: Do you have used-reconditioned Sound Blimps for older model Nikons and Canons?
A: Many times we do.
9. Q: Can I pay by credit card?
A: Yes. We accept VISA, American Express and MasterCard.
10. Q: Can I use my auto-focus lenses in auto-focus operation mode in the Sound Blimp?
A: Yes.
11. Q: Can I use my zoom lenses?
A: Maybe.  Usually we have lens tubes for most CANON EF f2.8 type lenses and most NIKON AF f2.8 type lenses.
12. Q: Do I need a different lens tube for each lens I wish to use?
A: That depends on your lenses. The physical dimensions of the lenses are the determining factors. Often we are able to provide a lens tube that can accommodate several different focal lengths. Let us know the exact lenses you have, then we can tell you all the possibilities.
13. Q: Can you custom make a lens tube for my special lens?
A: Sometimes. We have lens tubes in stock for the most popular lenses. When possible we can make a custom lens by modifying an existing tube for the same price. However, there are some custom lens tubes that cost substantially more and may require several weeks for delivery.
14. Q: Can you supply Series 9 filters other than the Clear?
A: Yes. We usually have UV and Skylight 1A  in stock. We can supply other types as special order items.
